Artist Statement:
Milk and Honey is a visual meditation on divine closeness and the fulfillment of God’s promises. Drawing inspiration from scripture’s imagery of a land “flowing with milk and honey,” the work reflects a spiritual place of abundance, intimacy, and faith realised.

Layered gestures, graffiti-inspired markings, and bursts of colour suggest both chaos and clarity — the human journey contrasted with the certainty of God’s word. Each mark carries the tension of struggle and release, ultimately resolving into a vision of provision and promise kept.

This piece invites the viewer into a sacred dialogue: to recognise moments of answered prayers, to sit in God’s presence, and to see life through the lens of His abundant faithfulness.
