Real1 Artist Bio

My art is how I process the world. I paint to make sense of experiences, emotions, and the weight of the society I live in. Each piece is both personal and universal—it starts from my own story, but it reaches for something bigger, something that speaks to others too.

I’m drawn to themes of struggle, freedom, and transformation. My work often sits in the tension between pain and possibility, where brokenness can also point to healing. I want my art to be more than something people just look at—I want it to be felt, to start conversations, to make people pause and question.

I experiment with different mediums—oil pastels, acrylics, clay , spray paint—whatever helps me say what I need to say in the rawest, truest way. My character real1 is central to my practice: a symbol that is me, but also everyone else. It reflects identity, emotion, and the many versions of being human.

At the core, my art is about connection. I want people to see themselves in it, to feel less alone, and maybe even to imagine change.
